The 2nd Ovarian cancer whole process management MDT Live show：national first show sponsored by the China Anti-Cancer Association began At 3:30 p.m. on September 26, 2018. This MDT adopted the form of live network video broadcast in three hospitals. The conference was chaired by Prof. Zhang Guonan, director of Gynecologic Oncology Center of our hospital, Prof. Liang Zhiqing, director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, the First Affiliated Hospital of the Army Military Medical University, and Prof. Wang Hui, from Department of Gynecologic Oncology, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Prof. Zhang Guonan, director of Gynecologic Oncology Center of our hospital, made a keynote speech entitled "PARP Inhibitors Open a New Era of Ovarian Cancer Treatment". Prof. Wu Peng from Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology gave a speech entitled "2018 International Research Express of Ovarian Cancer". Prof. Liang Zhiqing, director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, the First Affiliated Hospital of the Army Military Medical University, presided over the discussion and discussed in depth on how to optimize the benefits of patients with platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer. At the same time, Huang Jianming, a researcher in our hospital, made a prospective exploratory speech on the mechanism of action of BRCA2 point mutation site and PARP inhibitor. Finally, Prof. Zhang Guonan made a final summary of the conference, reaffirming the importance of the whole process management of ovarian cancer patients.
