The youth committee of West China Society of therapeutic and radiation oncology-RTOG has been established this month in Chengdu.
Mr.Jinyi Lang, the president of the hospital became the first chairman of the committee, and Dr.Mei Feng, from the radiation center, became the Ｅxecutive chairman.
The youth committee gathered 79 members from different hospital in West China, with 26 members of the standing committee and 6 vice chairmen. Dr.Mei Lan became the secretary of the committee.
The youth committee aimed to bulid a platform and an open system for the young doctors of radiation oncology though communication and dialog, which will promote the development of radiation oncology in West China.
