As we have a cooperative partnership with Institute University Hospital Maggiore della Carita of Italy, we invited Prof. Marco Krengli, director of radiation department to join in the intraoperative radiotherapy as an adviser. Prof. Krengli has great experience on intraoperative radiotherapy with good clinic outcomes which may increase survival rate in 3 to 5 years.
Prof. Krengli joined in an operation and gave advice during his visiting, which made guidance consultation for the operation.
Intraoperative radiotherapy becomes an advanced treatment for special cancer, which make good outcomes and low costs for patients. There were several operations successfully completed by cooperation of different departments in SCH.
