Wang Xianliang, Physicist of Radiotherapy Center, was invited to participate in the annual meeting 2017 of the The American Association of Physicist in Medicine (AAPM). His research "The Feasibility Study of Multiple CTs Based Optimization in IMPT" was on the exhibition and communication session of the meeting. The AAPM is committed to ensuring the accuracy and safety of radiation in medical imaging and radiotherapy, and the AAPM annual conference is one of the top conferences of the international medical physics. AAPM's 2017 academic conference was successfully held in Denver, Colorado, where the conference covers a wide range of applications such as imaging, radiotherapy planning, quality control, particle radiotherapy, large data and artificial intelligence in radiotherapy aspect. The contents of the meeting represent the development direction and the latest scientific research achievements in various fields, focusing on three directions: (1) proton radiation therapy; (2) radiotherapy imaging; (3) close-range radiotherapy.
