The Advanced Training Program for ESTRO & CSTRO Radiotherapy 2017 completed successfully

2017 Advanced Training Course on Radiation Therapy for ESTRO&CSTROwas held in Chengdu on July 5-9, 2017. This program was hosted by SCH. We have invited several famous professors including Professor Núria Jornet, Philippe Maingon, Coen Hurkmans, Nicolas Pourel, Pascale Simons to give courses on quality assurance, quality control and fine management in radiotherapy. At the same time, the experts communicated with the audients all over the world about the concepts, procedures and experience of advanced management. In the training course, young physicians and physicists in China learned a lot about the system, standards and indicators of quality control. These experts agreed that we should improve accuracy of radiotherapy through clinical audit, quality review and trial credentialing. Advanced Training Course on Radiation Therapy for ESTRO&CSTRO is a conventional platform. The young physicians and physicists in China could communicate, change views and discuss with the experts around the world through the platform. On the other hand, it could be more accurate and less toxic in radiation therapy though introducing advanced radiotherapy mode, quality control specification and management concept.
