2017 Chinese International Symposium of Nutritional Oncology(CISNO)& The 5thNational Conference on Cancer Nutrition and Supportive Care & The 3rdCross-Strait Cancer Nutrition Summit was hold in Beijing on April 12-16 by Cancer Nutrition and Supportive Care committee of China Anti-cancer Association. More than 2000 experts from America, Germany, Italy and Japan, and local hospitals attended the conference. 19 doctors of radiation department of SCH led by Director Li Tao took part in this symposium and gave presentations in the meeting.
In the award ceremony, SCH won the honor of “National Advanced group of Nutritional treatment”, Dr. Tao Li was given the award of “advanced individual of Nutritional oncology”.
Dr. Li also gave a lecture of Nutrition care for patients with radiotherapy, shared the experience of nutrition care of radiation oncology and communicated with audients about nutritional oncology.
Also, in special meeting of youth, Dr. Jiahua Lv shared the perspective on cancer cachexia. Chief nurse Xiaoli Tang gave a presentation of details in nutrition of cancer patients, which were highly spoken by audients.
Nutrition care become a effective treatment for cancer patients as well as operation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
