President Lang Jinyi of SCH led the team of head &neck MDT to the national head & neck cancer symposium of MDT & the establishment ceremony of head & neck committee of CMEA hosted by cancer hospital of CAMS.
Mr. Lang hosted the open session and gave a presentation of outlook of radiotherapy on head & neck cancer. The symposium gathered experts all over the country including doctors on radiotherapy, head & neck surgery and medical oncology. The topic of the symposium contains various hot spot of head & neck oncology such as MDT treatment, training and education, and medical oncology on this field. Speakers shared their experience on treatment, and doctors communicated with each other.
Also, it’s the establishment ceremony of head & neck committee of CMEA. Mr. Lang was voted to be the consultant of the committee. Mr. Chao Li, director of head & neck department of SCH, became vice chairman of the committee. Dr. Mei Feng, Shaoxin Wang and Shichuan Zhang from SCH was elected to be the member of standing committee. The committee aimed to gather different subjects to promote MDT operation of head & neck oncology and the level of comprehensive treatment.
