SCIENCE Research Led by SCH Tops “Golden Research Award”: 2025 Top Ten Original Research in Clinical Oncology in China

Recently, the nationwide multicenter phase III clinical research SCIENCE, jointly led by the Department of Thoracic Surgery and the Department of Radiation Oncology of SCH, was honored with the 6th Golden Research Award: 2025 Top Ten Original Research in Clinical Oncology in China, in recognition of its prospective design, rigorous implementation, and groundbreaking achievements.
Experts from the Department of Gynecologic Oncology of SCH Appointed to Important Positions in Chinese Medical Association


Recently, the Chinese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Chinese Medical Association successfully completed the election of its 13th Committee. Professor Zhang Guonan, discipline leader of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology of SCH, was elected as Vice Chair. In addition, the Chinese Society of Gynecologic Oncology of the Chinese Medical Association completed the transition of its 7th Committee. Professor Zhang Guonan was appointed as Advisor to the 7th Committee, while Director Wang Dengfeng was elected as Standing Committee Member.
SCH Successfully Holds 2026 Spring Festival Gala

On February 5, SCH hosted its 2026 Spring Festival Gala themed “Welcoming the Spring Festival with Benevolence and Dedication & Building the Future through Unity and Innovation”. Hospital leaders, staff members, family representatives, and representatives from partner institutions gathered together to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

On the morning of February 6, a delegation led by Professor Yang Mengsu (Michael), Senior Vice President of City University of Hong Kong, visited SCH for exchanges on cutting-edge medical technologies, scientific research cooperation, and education. The symposium was chaired by Vice President Lu Shun. SCH President Lin Tongyu, along with representatives and key researchers from the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Experimental Research Division, Department of Pathology, and Scientific Research Division, attended the symposium.
Department of Pharmacy of SCH Publishes English Version of Stratification system for pharmaceutical care in cancer patients: Chinese expert consensus

Recently, the English version of Stratification system for pharmaceutical care in cancer patients: Chinese expert consensus, initiated by the Department of Pharmacy of SCH and led by Professor Xiao Hongtao as co-corresponding author (listed first), was officially published in Frontiers in Pharmacology (IF: 4.8). The publication marks international recognition of SCH’s academic research achievements and clinical practice in the field of oncology clinical pharmacy.
